World of Warcraft: Behind the PvP.

Recently, I was lucky enough to get a good friend of mine to write a post for me about his favorite aspect of the game World of Warcraft, namely PvP. So, here it is!

Salutations, Fellow Bloggers,
Hello and I`m rather glad you have chosen to read my article on the Massively Multi-player Role Playing Game which is World Of Warcraft (WoW). I, like many other players in the gaming world like to do this thing which is known as PvP (Aka. Player Vs. Player) This entails the obvious: you vs someone else trying to defeat the opponent in combat which is either really hard or easy depending on the skill/gear of the player. This can either be your kind of thing or not depending on if you like PvP or if you like PvE .Now if you are wondering what PvE is it is like dungeoning against computer controlled things.
Anyway back to the PvP, depending on what Class you are you get different skills/abilities. This is also good depending what kind of person you are, for example if you are the kind that wants to do PvP yet wants to roam in the shadows then a Druid or Rogue is for you, also if you are a brute who does not like to be messed with then you would like a Warrior/Death Knight. If you want to be the Tree Hugger /healer you should be a healing class obviously like a priest or a paladin.
But enough about the classes for now. PvP includes a lot of different variations, the most well known being the paint balling objective which is capture the flag. In this game, World of Warcraft the classic version of this style is Warsong gulchwhich is capture the flag.  The first to get 3 captures wins. Some others like Eye of the Storm require you to get to a certain number of points by capturing certain bases.
Anyway if you are like me an amazing PvP driven guy who looks at a gnome and foams at the mouth at the chance to punt it then you should know that without the good gear you will be destroyed. If you role a paladin you are more than likely to be called OP (Over powered), which they are in my opinion at this current stage. With PvP there is always the downside of doubting your power. Some of my friends doubt themselves when they really shouldn't. In PvP you need Gems, scrolls and Buffs to obtain that advantage over the opposing player, not to mention gear. In the game WoW there is gear specifically made for PvP people and you get the base and then the better gear from arena/ rated battleground’s. There is a lot more to PvP and I will try to write more about this in not too distant future.
Your PvP Person
